Tax-deductible donations page
Fidalgo Youth Symphony meets routine expenses (director, coaches, concert venues, publicity) with member tutition. This creates a just-in-time financing situation. To accommodate some of the non-routine expenses such as additional coaches, community outreach, tuition scholarships, or purchase special instruments, we ask for donations. These donations are tax-deductible (email for 501(c)3 information if you have an employer who has a matching program)
We have several levels to chose from, and now offer simple PayPal payment. To make a secure on-line donation to the Fidalgo Youth Symphony, click on the button below that corresponds to the level at which you choose to donate. You will be redirected to the PayPal site to complete the transaction.

Fidalgo Youth Symphony is a non-profit organization now in its 11th year of offering orchestral experience for talented young musicians in Skagit, Island and Whatcom counties. The Symphony consists of a junior orchestra and the youth orchestra, both directed by the talented and highly motivating Sharyn Peterson. The two groups meet for rehearsal weekly during the academic year and perform four concerts: Fall, Holiday, Spring Gala, and the Finale in May.
